RentalCue is not currently designed as a cloud-based multi-location enterprise rental platform.

RentalCue is a browser-based application.
Your ordinary inventory, customer, and booking data is primarily stored locally in each browser where you use RentalCue.
This means:
- data does not automatically synchronize between devices;
- cloud synchronization is not currently included;
- automatic cloud backup is not currently included;
- clearing browser data may remove locally stored RentalCue data;
- you should regularly use Settings → Backup → Export Backup and keep the exported files somewhere safe.
Your RentalCue license email and downloaded license file are not backups of your business data.
An internet connection is required for purchase, license delivery, device activation, and certain license-related operations.

1. Purchase RentalCue
Complete the $19 one-time purchase using the email address you want associated with your RentalCue license.
2. Receive your license email
After payment is verified, RentalCue sends license information to the email address used during checkout.
If you do not see the message, check your Spam or Junk folder.
3. Activate your device
Follow the activation link and use your purchase email and license information when requested.
A license supports up to 3 active devices.
4. Start using RentalCue
Open RentalCue and begin adding your inventory, customers, and bookings.
5. Create a backup
After setting up RentalCue, use:
Settings → Backup → Export Backup
Keep the exported file somewhere separate from the browser or device running RentalCue.

Is RentalCue a subscription?
No. RentalCue is currently sold for $19 USD as a one-time purchase.
How many devices can I use?
One license supports up to 3 active devices at a time.
Does my data sync between devices?
No.

What happens if I clear my browser data?
Your locally stored RentalCue data may be deleted.
If you have a compatible Backup Export file, you can restore supported RentalCue data using Backup Import.
Is the license file a backup of my inventory and bookings?
No.
Your license email and license file are used for licensing and activation. They do not contain a backup of your RentalCue business data.
Can several staff members use RentalCue?
Authorized staff within the same business may use activated devices within the three-device limit.
RentalCue does not currently provide real-time cloud synchronization or collaborative editing between devices.
What browser should I use?
RentalCue is intended for modern web browsers.
A current version of a mainstream browser such as Chrome or Edge is recommended.
Private or Incognito browsing is not recommended for normal RentalCue use because locally stored data may not be retained reliably.
Do I need internet access?
Internet access is required for purchasing RentalCue, receiving or verifying a license, activating devices, and some license-related operations.
What happens after purchase?
Payment is verified, a RentalCue license is issued, and license information is sent to the email address used during checkout.
You then activate your device and open RentalCue.
What if my license email does not arrive?
Check your Spam or Junk folder and make sure you are checking the email address used during checkout.
If it still does not arrive, contact RentalCue Support.
What if activation does not work?
Check that:
- the purchase email is correct;
- the license information is correct;
- the device is online;
- the three-device limit has not been exceeded;
- the purchase has not been refunded or reversed.
If the problem continues, contact support.
Can I get a refund?
RentalCue purchases are generally non-refundable once a valid license has been issued and the software is accessible.
Refunds may be provided for situations such as duplicate charges, failure to issue or activate a valid license, or a verified technical issue that prevents use and cannot reasonably be resolved.
